Heathcliff Bridge Project Underway

Montgomery County, in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Transportation, is rehabilitating the existing Heathcliff Bridge over the Stillwater River in the City of Clayton/Butler Township in 2015. The existing bridge carries approximately 5,400 vehicles a day, is structurally deficient, and is nearing the end of its serviceable life.  The rehabilitation will replace a four span steel beam bridge that was built in 1968 with a four span plate girder bridge on new abutments and rehabilitated piers.  The four span bridge will be 328 feet long and 28 feet wide.
