    Dr. James Davis has been a resident of the Dayton area since doing his postgraduate medical training at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in 1970. He has worked as a Family Physician for over thirty one years in this community and has worked at the Montgomery County Coroner's Office since 1975.  

     

    He is a member of numerous professional organizations and serves on and as chairman of many committees and boards serving this community and state, such as, Chairman of the Domestic Violence Death Review Committee, a member of the Child Fatality Review Board, the Southwest Ohio Regional Trauma Committee, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation for the Science of Human Donation, Medical Advisory Committee of the School of the Science of Human Donation at the Medical College of Ohio, multiple offices of the Ohio State Coroner's Association and currently Treasurer of that association, Past President of the Ohio Council of County Officials, Executive Secretary of the Board of Life Connection or Ohio, as well as, several others.
