The Excellence in Scan Award is presented annually by Auditor Karl Keith to a Montgomery County business that has shown excellence in price verification (scanning) inspections throughout the year.  Weights and measures inspectors recommend businesses that pass scanning tests, have been cooperative with the inspection procedures and have worked hard to ensure their customers are treated fairly.
