Montgomery County Auditor Karl Keith would like to remind county property owners that the Auditor’s Office is now accepting property value dispute forms beginning Tuesday, January 3rd through Monday, April 2nd.
The Board of Revision will review appeals made by property owners who believe their property has been incorrectly assessed. A representative from the County Commissioner’s Office, the Treasurer’s Office and the Auditor’s Office review these appeals from property owners and issue a decision.
Appeal forms can be obtained on the Auditor’s website at www.mcrealestate.org or at the Auditor’s Office, located in the Montgomery County Administration Building, 451 W. Third St. Please contact the Board of Revision with questions about filing an appeal at 496-6856.
