The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) in cooperation with the Ohio Weights & Measures Association (OWMA) has recognized Montgomery County Auditor Weights & Measures Inspector Charlie Richmond. 

Richmond was presented the award at a luncheon on November 19th for his work in Package Checking.  Richmond has completed a comprehensive National Training Program in package checking enforcement. 

"We're proud of Charlie's accomplishments and know he'll continue to ensure fairness and uniformity in the marketplace," said Auditor Karl Keith.

The Auditor's Weights & Measures inspectors check everything in the local market from gas pumps to scales to check-out scanners.  They guarantee consumers get exactly what they pay for at the pump or at the check-out counter.
