Montgomery County Environmental Services is currently undertaking a project to replace Grit and Scum transfer pumps at the Eastern Regional Water Reclamation Facility, as well as installing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) on other associated pumps. These upgrades will allow the facility to increase operational and energy efficiency, while decreasing harmful solids that previously had the ability to enter the treatment process. Elimination of these solids will improve treatment of influent flows and decrease maintenance requirements on downstream process elements.Contractor: Danis
