Montgomery County Material Reuse Facility

Montgomery County Material Reuse Facility (McMRF) collects and warehouses unwanted, yet usable, materials from individuals and businesses. Items are redistributed to local non-profit organizations. For more information, you can download our McMRF Brochure

Donations of any unwanted, excess or over-run materials are accepted at McMRF. If your business or personal items would benefit local non-profits such as schools, churches or community organizations, call McMRF at (937) 781-3075.

Shop at McMRF
Non-profit 501 (c)(3) organizations in Montgomery County are invited to become member of McMRF at no cost. Call (937) 781-3075 or (937) 781-3046 to request a registration packet. Or download a Member Registration Packet.

Once your registration is completed and approved, your organization can "shop" at the McMRF warehouse free of charge. Member shopping hours are Tuesdays, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Fridays, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

McMRF Teacher Shopping Day Pilot Program a Huge Success

mcmrf buildingTuesday, November 1, 2016 was the launch date for the McMrf Teacher Shopping Day Pilot Program. The pilot program allowed all Montgomery County teachers to shop each Tuesdays and Fridays for FREE materials for their classrooms.  On the first six shopping days in November, 155 teachers were served and 15,496 lbs. of material  distributed. The pilot program was a great success and will be implemented immediately.

So whether it is art supplies, student incentives, file cabinets, bookshelves, or even computers, we may have what need to have a successful school year.

Remember take advantage and shop during your school's Spring, Summer, and Winter break.
