2016 Safety & Risk Management Employee Events
Earn American Heart Association Certification: First Aid - 2 year, CPR - 2 year, AED - 2 year
Learn how to recognize signals of a heart attack; provide CPR for an adult victim; care for choking and breathing emergencies; how to use a County-approved Zoll AED (Automated External Defibrillator); life saving techniques for shock, bleeding, burns and other injuries.
This class is a collaborative safety effort, led by certified county employees, and will be offered with rotating dates, times, locations.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED at least 1 week in advance

This course can also be brought to your location with a minimum of 10 participants, cost may be involved.

Cancellations must be made within 72 hours of the course, or the department will be charged $50 to cover expenses.
