Major Glen McIntosh joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in 1984 as a civilian employee. He was promoted to the position of deputy sheriff in 1987. As a deputy sheriff he continued working in the jail before serving as a dispatcher and then as a road patrol deputy. During his time as a patrol officer he served in the capacity of a K-9 handler, evidence technician and SWAT team member.
Major McIntosh was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 1994. As a sergeant he served as a jail supervisor, dispatch supervisor and road patrol supervisor. In 2003 he was transferred to the detective section where he served as the supervisor for the CANE drug task force. He was then made supervisor of the Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Section.
Major McIntosh was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2005. He served in this capacity for a short time before attaining his present rank. He currently serves as the Major in charge of the Sheriff's Office Personnel Division. Major McIntosh has been an active member of the Sheriff's Office SWAT team and the Montgomery County Regional SWAT team since 1990. He continues to serve in this capacity.
Major McIntosh is a native of Montgomery County. He graduated from Dixie High School and earned an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Sinclair College. Major Daryl Wilson joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in 1991 as a deputy Sheriff. Prior to joining the Sheriff's Office, Major Wilson worked for the Board of County Commissioners' security force as a sergeant for three years.
As a deputy, Major Wilson served in the Jail Division, Road Patrol Division, Community Oriented Policing Unit, Field Training Officer and an evidence technician. In 1995 he was assigned to the Organized Crime Unit where he served in an undercover capacity as a narcotics detective. While in the unit, he was recognized for his accomplishments by the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Dayton Police Department. Major Wilson has been an active member of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office SWAT team and the Montgomery County Regional SWAT team since 1995. He continues to serve in this capacity as a Team Commander.
Upon Major Wilson's promotion to the rank of sergeant in 1998, he was assigned as a supervisor in the Jail Division. In 2001, he was assigned to the Road Patrol Division as a Road Patrol/Administrative Sergeant. In 2004, he served as a supervisor for the Inspectional Services Unit which is responsible for conducting internal investigations.
In 2005, Major Wilson was promoted to the rank of Captain an assigned to the Operation Division as the Assistant Operations Commander.
Major Wilson is currently assigned as the Division Commander for the Jail and for Court Security.
Major Wilson graduated from Dunbar High School, attended Sinclair Community College and numerous accredited law enforcement training courses. Major Wilson is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command as a member of Class 314.

Dee Osterfeld |
Captain Dee Osterfeld joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in 1986 as a corrections officer assigned to the Jail Division. She was promoted to the position of deputy sheriff in 1987, where she served as a patrol deputy and an evidence technician. In 1995, Captain Osterfeld was assigned as a detective in Harrison Township and later worked as a detective in the Special Investigations Unit. Upon her promotion to the rank of Sergeant in 1999, she was assigned as a supervisor in the Jail Division. In 2001, she was assigned to Road Patrol. As a Sergeant, she supervised Traffic Services, Forensic Services, the School Resource Officer Program, and the DARE Program.
Captain Osterfeld is assigned to the Operations Division as the Commander of the Washington Township Substation. She is a trained Hostage Negotiator and previously served as the Commander of the Hostage Negotiation Team.
Captain Osterfeld is a native of Montgomery County. She graduated from Miamisburg High School, earned an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement from Sinclair Community College and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Safety Management from Franklin University.

Captain Jeff Papanek began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in 1987 as a corrections officer assigned to the Jail Division. He was promoted to the position of deputy sheriff in 1992, where he served as a road patrol deputy and an evidence technician. In 1996, he worked for a short time as a detective in the Organized Crime Unit, and in 1997, and until his promotion to sergeant, he worked as a detective in the Inspectional Services Unit, which is responsible for conducting internal investigations. Additionally, Captain Papanek served on both the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office SWAT team and the Montgomery County Regional SWAT team from 1994 until 2003.
Captain Papanek was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1999 where he served in the Jail Division. In 2001, he was assigned to the Road Patrol where he worked as a shift sergeant in Harrison, Jefferson, and Washington Townships.
In May of 2005, Captain Papanek was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned to the Jail Division where he worked as a shift commander.
Captain Papanek was promoted to the rank of Captain on October 13, 2006. He is currently assigned as the District Commander for Harrison Township, which contracts with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office for police services.
Captain Papanek is a native of Montgomery County. He graduated from Centerville High School and attended Wright State University. Captain Papanek is married with two teenage daughters.

Captain Rob Streck joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in 1996 as a Corrections Officer in the Jail Division. He graduated from the Sinclair Community College Police Academy and was promoted to the rank of Deputy Sheriff in 1997.
Captain Streck served in the Operation Division as a patrol deputy in Harrison, Jefferson, and Washington Townships. In 2002 he was assigned to the Montgomery County Regional Training Center as a full time law enforcement trainer. In 2003, Captain Streck was assigned as a detective in the Inspectional Services Unit, where he was responsible for conducting internal investigations for the Sheriff's Office and numerous other law enforcement agencies. Captain Streck also served Montgomery County as a member of the SWAT team during this period.
In 2004, Captain Streck was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. As a Sergeant, he was assigned to the County Jail, Court Services, and the Inspectional Services Unit. During 2005 and 2006, he also served as the Sheriff's Office Accreditation Manager for the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
Captain Streck was promoted to the rank of Captain on October 13, 2006 where he is currently assigned to the Support Services Division.
Captain Streck is a native of Montgomery County. He graduated from Brookville High School and attended Sinclair Community College. Captain Streck obtained his degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University.

Major Dave Hale joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in 1984 as a civilian dispatcher. In 1987 he transferred to the jail and worked as a corrections officer until 1988. In 1988 he obtained reserve deputy status and served as a transportation officer. He was promoted to the position of deputy sheriff in 1989 working the overnight shift in both the West Substation and the Harrison Township substation. In 1994 Major Hale worked as an investigator with Special Investigations and in 1995 assumed an undercover role as an investigator with both the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Organized Crime Unit where he served until 2000 when he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
As a Sergeant, Major Hale worked the Jail, Dispatch, the Washington Township substation and then returned to supervisor the Organized Crime Unit from 2005-07. In 2007 he was transferred to supervise the Special Investigations Unit, overseeing numerous violent crime and homicide investigations.

Captain Greg Stephens

Captain Greg Stephens joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office command staff in April 2009 and currently serves as the County’s radio system administrator. He began his law enforcement career in 1991 as a park ranger with Dayton-Montgomery County Park District / Five Rivers MetroParks. As a Lieutenant with that agency, he was responsible for all mobile data and computer terminals, security alarm and access control systems, fleet management, and radio equipment repair and installation.
Captain Stephens is a member of the Hostage Negotiation Team as well as a board member of both the Montgomery County Police Athletic League and The Suicide Prevention Center.
Captain Stephens is a graduate of Northmont High School and Miami Valley Career Technology Center, where he currently acts as a substitute teacher and member of the Criminal Justice Advisory Council. He attended Sinclair Community College. Captain Stephens and his family reside in Butler Township.

Captain Jeremy Roy started his law enforcement career as a patrolman with the City of Riverside. In July of 2001, he joined the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and was assigned to the Road Patrol Division. During his time in the Road Patrol Division, Captain Roy worked as a C.O.P.S. Officer and as well as a Field Training Officer in both Harrison Township and in Jefferson Township.
In December of 2002, Captain Roy was certified as an Accident Reconstructionist through Northwestern University and later, in 2004, he was assigned to the Forensic Services Unit after receiving training through the Miami Valley Crime Lab.
In 2004, Captain Roy was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and after spending a short time inside the Jail, he was assigned as the Sergeant over the Court Services Detail. In August of 2008, Captain Roy received training from Ohio Homeland Security and the US Department of Justice to become certified as a Terrorism Liaison Officer for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
Captain Jeremy Roy has been an active member of the Sheriff's Office Hostage Negotiation Team and the Montgomery County Regional HNT team since 2005. He currently serves as the Commander of the Hostage Negotiation Team.
In January of 2010, he was promoted to the rank of Captain and is currently the Assistant Commander of the Jail Division.

Captain Chuck Crosby began his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office in 1992 as a corrections officer assigned to the Jail Division. He was promoted to the position of transportation officer and then deputy sheriff in 1994, where he remained assigned to the Jail Division. He subsequently transferred to the Operations Division where he was assigned as a patrol deputy. Captain Crosby was a member of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team and the Montgomery County Regional SWAT Team from 1997 to 2003.
In 1999, Captain Crosby was promoted to the rank of sergeant and assigned to the Jail Division as a shift supervisor. In 2001, he was assigned to the Operations Division and served as a shift supervisor on the road patrol. While assigned to Harrison Township, he supervised the detective section in addition to the patrol function. He was also responsible for reorganizing the civil service function while assigned to Jefferson Township.
In 2005, Captain Crosby was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. He was assigned to the Jail Division as a shift commander. His additional responsibilities included the oversight of jail operations for compliance with standards from various state and accrediting agencies, including the American Corrections Association, the National Commission on Correctional Health Care and the Ohio Bureau of Adult Detention. In 2009, he worked for a short time as the Inspectional Services Unit Supervisor.
On January 19, 2010, Captain Crosby was promoted to the rank of captain. He continues to serve in the Jail Division as an Assistant Division Commander.
Captain Crosby is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Keystone Oaks Senior High School in 1981. Captain Crosby has lived in Montgomery County since 1991. He received an Associate's Degree from Barstow College; which he attended while serving in the U.S. Army. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University in 2009 and is currently working towards a Master's Degree in Public Administration at Wright State. He successfully completed the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command as a member of Class 264. He is married, has one daughter, five grandchildren and currently resides in the Brookville area.
