The Support
Services Division of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office
provides technical support to the other divisions within the Sheriff’s
Office and for Montgomery County. The
division is responsible for the Dispatch Center (Emergency 911
Dispatching Operation), as well as Records and Property
Management and it oversees the Sheriff’s budget.
The division provides 800 MHz radio system technical and
maintenance support for the Sheriff’s Office and other local agencies
and also provides computer information systems support for our Corrections
Management System, Computer Aided Dispatching and Mobile
Data Terminals. Additionally,
the division is responsible for training not only our employees but also
for providing various types of training for personnel from other
agencies. The division
serves civil papers for the courts and handles foreclosures and related
sales for those properties. The
division is divided into five main Sections. Budgetary
Analysis, Information
Technology, Dispatch
Center / Property Management, Legal
Process / Training
Center / Records and County
Communications / 800 MHz Radio System.
