All Sheriff sales are held in the Lower Level of the County Administration Building, 451 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402 and begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Sales will be advertised in the
Dayton Daily News / Daily Court Reporter.
The ads run once per week for a minimum of three consecutive weeks.
The Sheriff’s Office does not mail or give away a list of
properties or information about purchasing foreclosed property.
The property is not
available for tour or inspection. The
buyer gets the property “as is,” caveat emptor (let the buyer
beware). The Sheriff’s Office does not have information on
liens or taxes. Real estate
tax information can be found on the Treasurer’s web site, www.mctreas.org.

Terms of sale are not the
same on mortgage foreclosures and real estate tax foreclosures.

All revenue generated from Sheriff’s real estate sales goes to the
County’s general fund.
