Pay-rate ranges,
start at five steps for Security Officers and up to thirteen steps for
Corrections Officers and Civilian Dispatchers.
It takes ten years for positions with thirteen steps to reach the
top pay scale step. It takes
three years for Security Officers to reach the top step of the pay scale.
Classifications having seven steps, such as Deputy Sheriffs, take five years to reach the top pay scale
step. Hourly pay-rate ranges
are listed with the descriptions of each
entry-level position.
