Montgomery County Developmental Disabilities Services Board - DDS

FUNCTION: Provides programs and services to the mentally retarded and developmental disabled children and adults of Montgomery County

MEETINGS:  Third Tuesday each month - Board shall meet at least ten times annually

TERM LENGTH: Four years (2 full term limit)

COMPOSITION: Seven members, five appointed by BCC (two of which are relatives of a person eligible for service, if possible one a relative of an adult receiving services, and one a relative of a child or an individual receiving early intervention or services for pre-school or school-age children); and two by Probate Judge (at least one shall be a relative of a person eligible for residential services or supported living)
