Micrographics systems and applications are well-established, reliable records management technologies which contribute to the economy and efficiency of numerous County offices. These microform records adhere to standards and guidelines for microfilming technologies and procedures established by the American National Standards Institute and Association for Information and Image Management.

Located on the sixth floor of the Reibold Building, the County Imaging Center completed its 25th full year of providing consistently high-quality services to all major County offices, agencies, and departments, as well as to other political subdivisions. Nearly fifteen million document images were produced during 1995 involving over 100 distinct applications for more than 40 offices and agencies. Computer-Output-Microfiche continues to be substituted for over 150 regularly scheduled reports as a cost effective alternative to paper printouts.
