HOMELESS SYSTEM FRONT DOOR ASSESSMENT PROCESS RFP: The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, through the Office of Family and Children First, has issued a Request for Proposals for a Homeless System Front Door Assessment Process. The request is for professional ser vices to develop and implement a homeless system front door assessment process for all families and individuals who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness. The services requested include examining the existing components of the current process, recommending needed changes and new components and ensuring that the process works effectively. An evaluator who is independent of the homeless and emergency assistance system in Montgomery County will be selected for a two-year contract.
A Proposer's Conference will be held on June 4, 2009 at 1:30 PM on the 9th floor of the Montgomery County Administration Building, 451 West Third Street, Dayton,Ohio. Proposals are due by 4:30 PM on July 21, 2009.
Homeless System Front Door Assessment RFP
HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION AND RAPID REHOUSING RFQ: The City of Dayton, on behalf of Montgomery County and the City of Dayton, has issued a Request for Qualifications for a Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Program that is being funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Approximately $4 million will be available over a three-year period for the Case Management including client screening for homeless prevention, Case Management including client screening for rapid rehousing, Housing Search, Housing Inspections, Centralized Financial Assistance Provider, Fee for Service Activities and Administration.
A Technical Assistance workshop will be held on Monday June 8, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the Montgomery County Administration Building, 451 West Third Street, Dayton Ohio in the Auditorium on the Mezzanine Level.

HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION AND RAPID REHOUSING RFQ
2010 SUPPORTED SERVICES, 2009 CONTINUUM OF CARE, 2009 EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT AND 2009 HOME HOUSING PROGRAM
The Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners is requesting proposals for the provision of emergency shelter and services for homeless persons, rental assistance for homeless and formerly homeless individuals and families, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals and families and supportive services. At the request of the Homeless Solutions Policy Board which acts as the Continuum of Care for the Dayton-Montgomery County area, the 2009 Continuum of Care programs are included in the Request for Proposals issued by the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners.
These programs are to be funded through the following sources: Montgomery County Homeless Supportive Services funding, the Department of Housing and Urban Development Emergency Shelter Grant, and HOME Housing Investment Partnerships programs. The Continuum of Care grants are awarded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
