Summary:
10th Annual Keep Kids Warm set to begin.
Montgomery County Children Services has teamed up with Greene County Children Services for the 10th annual Keep Kids Warm winter wear collection. Starting January 21 through February 8, donations of NEW hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and earmuffs will be accepted for local abused and neglected children.
"The community is so generous when it comes to helping children who are less fortunate," said Montgomery County Children Services Executive Director Gayle Bullard. "Some people even go as far as to knit by hand hats and mittens for the children. It's really heartwarming."
Donations of NEW winter gear items can be made at all seven area Vanguard Imaging Partner locations; Montgomery County Children Services in Dayton; Greene County Children Services in Xenia or at the studios of WMMX and WLQT in Dayton.
