Summary:
County Commissioner Deborah Lieberman spoke with Kings Island Public Relations/Marketing Manager Bill Medford about the Workforce Development Project developed with Children Services at the kickoff for the program that unites Children Services youths and Kings Island jobs.  WHIO-TV's Mike Campbell interviewd a new worker for the evening news.  For the second year, Montgomery County youth involved with Children Services are employed by Kings Island.  This public/private partnership gives young people an opportunity to receive customer service training and work as crew leaders, managers and supervisors in sales, food service and as lifeguards.  It also provides these young adults a unique opportunity to experience "real life" job experiences.
