Summary:
Montgomery County Commissioners received a visit by Monco and MRDD, who showcased their products created by MRDD adults at the Monco enterprises facility.  Adults with disabilities create products including gourmet dog cookies, specialty pins, gift baskets, room and linen sprays and an assortment of note cards.  Consumers who produce the items explained to the Commissioners the processes that they use and showcased their merchandise.  MRDD receives Human Service Levy funding, which provides essential human services to children, adults and seniors in Montgomery County.  The Montgomery County Commissioners also honored individuals from the Mentoring Collaborative for providing mentoring to youth in the community.
