Montgomery County Commissioners Debbie Lieberman and Judy Dodge, Matt Rubel, CEO of Collective Brands, Inc., Brookville Mayor David Seagraves and Congressman Michael Turner helped celebrate the grand opening of the new 800,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art Eastern Distribution Center in Brookville on Friday, February 27, 2009. The Payless operation created more than 300 new jobs in the area, and the Stride Rite expansion is expected to create an additional 100 jobs upon completion this fall.
