The Montgomery County Treasurer's Office offers monthly Real Estate Tax payment options.  There is also an option to pay by semi-annual automatic withdrawal from your checking account. Monthly payments allow taxpayers to manage their annual expenses by dividing the cost of real estate taxes throughout the year.  Semi-annual automatic withdrawal allows taxpayers to conveniently pay their taxes on a fixed schedule.  

The options available for Pre-Payment include:

• Monthly Mail-In:     Annual real estate taxes are divided into monthly payments.  Monthly installment 'coupons' will be sent and the 'coupons' are used to make a pre-payment on future real estate taxes.
• Monthly Electronic Withdrawal:    Annual taxes are divided into monthly payments.  Monthly pre-payments are automatically withdrawn from your bank account.
• Semi-Annual Electronic Withdrawal:    Semi Annual tax payments are automatically withdrawn from your bank account during normal collection time periods (February and July).
